This is stunning! The only thing that would have made it better would be to get even lower and lose the wire/fence in the shot... probably close to impossible.
What you did get is gorgeous! The colours in the sky are so vivid and alive and I love how you used the bullrush in the foreground to tie ground and sky together!

The texture in these gives it a really neat abstract feel... I think that you captured this very well. I've always been fascinated by light through forests and how it plays on the trees. You managed to capture it very well. The two trees on the right are almost an optical illusion... my eyes keep wanting to make that tree on the right go behind the next one!

hahaha.. had to laugh about your "about" and the raccoon tan... what else is spring skiing/boarding for?
This is a very cool shot... love the multiple exposures and the way they just seem to appear in the middle of the shot and extend out to the edge. The yellow is an added bonus splash of colour that works well with the blue sky.

I really like how that tree tilts into the image... it makes the cliff on the right seem mammoth! (although it very well could be mammoth! The super wide angle helps give this a unique perspective as well.
The lighting looks a little harsh, but when out and about you can't really be too picky on the lighting situation.

Phil, this is adorable. I love it. My only suggestion on here is to crop the top. I will try to get some shots tomorrow for you. I hope to get some good ones. I really need the more expensive lens... this "hobby" is very expensive.

Well, what are you going to do with yourself when the summer comes? Love this angle and the DOF is splendid as well. Makes you feel like moon walking. Miss the snow so I am thrilled to see a snow man. From WA where we got LOTS of snow and had 3 passes within 2 hours (at most) drive. We live by the ocean so it's a good trade since the husband hated snow...

Love it - very nice! They should use it for the webpage graphics too. It'd be an awsome template with all that space to run copy in.

I think it's a very nice shot. Makes me think about loneliness. Maybe to fine-tune the photo, you should crop a bit in the foreground.

check out the most recent uploads that was last saturday, its getting soft and slushy but still good for dropping the cornaces and there is a big booter all the way on the right hand side that were going to shoot this sat, if you would like to join, well be the only ones on that part of the pass, no one ever comes over to our tracks or as far over to the right... dont really know why, its the best area... thanks for viewing my images
