Thanks for the great critique Lisa.
I'll let you in on a secret, my tripod is kinda broken, so I have to hold onto the camera to make sure it doesn't fall off. So yeah there's always ganna be some shake with my shots
remote shutter release? did you see the camera I was using? google it for images
Once again, Thank you ever so much for the Critique and I will try harder next time

My first thought was that this would have looked great had it been taken with at trip, but it was.

There seems to be a bit of camera shake, possible from not using a remote shutter release since a tripod was used.

The timing of the firework in the foreground going off and the one in the distance is perfect - except for the slight camera shake.

Yeah no matter you didnt click it man.. Im glad you shared it.. kinda reminds me of something good.. like the flaming heart.. maybe even biblical. Cool flaring effect too even though I notice there is not any PS used.. something happened here that was very interesting... Sometimes you just need to be lucky as well. cool shooting man.

Jeff I love sea pictures. This one is beautiful with the rock as a point of interest. Even though the water looks cold, I want to roll up my pants, launch my kayak, and paddle upon those rythmic waves. Good shot. Don't get wet!

Quite like the focus in this image. The sky is a little over-exposed, but I think in this instance, it works well. Particularly as it blankets out the power lines, which would have been a huge distraction.

As far as rock(?) band photos go, you're on the right track here. Late afternoon sun is great. Their positions and poses 'appear' natural and the angle/direction/perspective is spot on for the look you were achieving (IMHO).

I will make a couple of small suggestions though (if I may), that is firstly, take this shot again but in an empty field for a less cluttered background. Then maybe play around with the image in PS (or whatever other editing software you have) and try conversions to either B&W or sepia for a more grungy/urban feel... just my ideas Jeff, nothing more

Let me know if you put a band website together for these guys. I'd loved to check them out!

Ignore that rule, Jeff. It's one of those Photography 101 "laws" intended as a general bench mark, despite what our friends keep saying to us. If you don't believe it, look at the work of the best artisitic and commercial photographers.
