Hi Jeanette,

I don't think you need a special view or lens to let Casa Mila look like from outer space =) This IS from outer space =)

Hi Hugo,

well, something different this time from you. "Just" a great view. But an impressive one with a great format and a perfect split between the elements. I'm wondering what the water looks like with the cripplings? Is that rain?

good work my friend.

Hi Peta,

YAMM YAMM. The water drop make these little readheads very attractive. Some Mozzarella and Basil... pepper, olive oil, Balsamico... what do you need else? =)

Hi Gayle,

chilling... that's what came into my mind when I saw this beautiful "off-centered single person in a wide wide water" scenery =)

good one!

Hi Roger,

I think your presentation in BW is well done. the wide angle is not really visible/annyoing, so you did the right thing here.

best wishes,
Thilo

Hey Paolo,

you may spend a whole weekend in the Casa Mila alone ;-) Awesome stuff on the roof. Maybe some more to come, although I have so many other pics from other places.

thanks!

Hi Hugo,

well, another great one in the series an a tough one for me to decide =) I think the contrast in terms of color is a bit too harsh for me here in comparison to my personal fave of the series, the elements. But hey: This is great, too. I really admire the way you present the series and the elements in it.

Hi Roby,

what a wonderful mood you've captured here. the minimal fog, the reduced color, the light that makes it's way through the landscape... Thumbs up!

Hey Erik,

Another one with "the look". I like the warm colors around, the somehow curious and sexy look and the fresh colors.

Hi Edward,

As to my experience, the 10-20 is a fine lens although the 12-22 Nikon shows more detail/sharpness. But the latter one is more expensive and I definitely need the 2mm (3 mm in small film) for my extreme wide angles ;-)

As for price/performance, the 10-20 is a good deal IMHO. Silent zoom, good mechanic quality and "feeling". Vignetting ist not so important for me - sometimes I use this even as a means of art.

hope that helps. thanks for your feedback-

Hi Burak,

well thanks for your encouraging words. You're right: A lot of people went away from UF and turned to other sites. That's a sad thing for me as well as UF is my first photo community site and will always be an important memory for me.

Great to have you here =)

Hi Hugo,

I like this part of the series as well, as it shows more "organic" pictures in a row with a clear definition of foreground and sky part. What I'm not so sure about is the mixture of lens babys enhanced pics (or at least altered ones) with standard ones. nevertheless, the concept of showing endless roads in a row is quite a pleasing idea.

best wishes,

Hi Hugo,

This is impressive stuff my friend. I appreciate the brillance and detail you achive here with your landscape composings... I have to change my mind about nature shots being potentially boring. =) Well, I will go for Cornwall this summer and will hopefully find some great places like you found.

All in all, this series is by far the best for me. The concept is freakin awesome.

Hi Paul,

I love the idea that a photographer is kind of a risk seeker =) I think this image works well in BW. Maybe it's a tad shaky, but with f/19? No wonder =)
