Hi Stefano, with or without the description, it's a very strong and powerful image. At times, it's good to leave the actual idea or story behind a photo to the viewers imagination, but in this case, the two match perfectly. I like the bold, centered composition in this case.

I'm not sure I agree with Ruta that all scratches add something for the mood, and in this calse, I think you can solely rely on the tone and contrast to create the atmosphere. Excellent shot.
