Thanks Jaques,
I used the Leaff Valeo 22 w/Hasselblad H1. This was shot for a turkish fashion magazine called VIZON. I'm shooting another at the beginning of next month in vegas. Thanks for the comments. -cheers

It's true, it's a good camera. too bad. They will still support it for the next ten years but no more digital backs are going to be designed for it...

Yeah, true. Once you have a good understanding of the basics of portraiture and photography then you can really start playing and breaking the rules. A lot of people complain about cutting heads off but in fashion it's cool because ultimately it's about the clothes and it also creates a little more energy and interest. best -aaron

Thank You, I didn't get to see her - but I'm hoping to catch the reruns of her. She's a very sweet girl.

The focus was intended to be off to convey a feeling of warmth and softness - this shot does not work as well in focus in my opinion. I never use this camera on autofocus, it's annoying and not accurate enough. -thanx

I've always been a fan of Phase One and I've worked with all the backs and software and I know most of the "big" photographers out there prefer it but it's all personal preference in the end. Leafs software isn't quite there but when it is they should dominate the market. I'm not as familiar with the Imacon. I really don't have a problem resolutionwise on a good capture with the H10. I like the H 25 to but sometimes the files are too big to store everything. -aaron

Thanks Jaques, I use the Contax Phase One H10. That was at 400 ISO at a 15th. It was an experiment that turned out well.

Thanks Robbie, It's only one very precisely placed umbrella. Experiment with a soft silver or white umbrella - it doesn't always have to be pointed directly at your model. The softer light comes from the outside of the umbrella.

Great model. It is slightly overexposed by a stop but a good way to save the shot is to turn it B&W and adjust the contrst to your preference.

Can't go wrong with the window light- so soft... looks great, good angle. Keep exploring that window light. It works well for your style.
