Hi Alisa,
You're not talking about derivative art, are you? Don't think theres a need to worry about that in this case - and luckily, the whole concept of "art" is rather flexible anyway.
The tonal range in this photo rocks - it adds to the atmosphere. Very well composed too, as there is a strong coherence within the clutter and elements in this photo. A very good mix between abstract and figurative - art in a complex meaning.

I like images like this where the scale cannot nmecessarily be discerned from the contents. We have to guess at it. The mass of straight lines and right angles tell us it's manmade but it could (with a little imagination) be either a building or the inside of something electronic. It's a fine abstract and the choice of black and white seems the right one. Regards, Gary

There's more potential in this one. The DOF is too shallow. Kill it for it's technical flaws. Reshoot it with a slightly wider DoF and with an increased camera tilt, then keep it.

I usually like triptyches. Photo 1 and 2 are great, nr. 3 kills it. Make it a diptych and keep it.
