good composition but could have been perfect. It is the art of photo simplification. I see the man's arms sitting in the background. This man shouldn't be seen.The background should be separated from the figure in front. There's a lot of distractions in the background. Chairs, signboards, awnings, writing ... this problem is easy to solve. The background should be blurry. Then the main issue will come forward. Opening the aparture was enough. f / 2 or f / 2.8 are very good values. If you have a suitable lens. If you do not have a suitable lens. use the most open aperture. Must approach the object.

I'm thinking a full body shot might work better here. Her dress takes up most of the shot and the people in the background are a distraction although hard not to get some people in the background of a public celebration.

Wonderful B&W tones. Great lighting! But if you don't mind. I hope you don't mind if I make a suggestion for the future. I might have captured the portrait in horizontal frame by placing the person more to the right. Let her turn the head a bit more, so that she looks more to the left.
The crop isn't that tight and you would show a bit less of her shoulder so that you have more focus to that nice looking smile of "Claudia".
