I like the texture and shapes of this. A good abstract in my thoughts.
Be well, Stan

Hey Ian,could you please answer Nick's question and let me know when you do.It's another interesting shot. It's too hot to go out-around 40 centigrade right now-so maybe I'll try out this technique,it looks promising.
Cheers, Tony

In a way it resembles the stamps on fabric, but this time it seems like a very aged one, Ian. I don't know if some mentally contsructed gradient between hell (bottom) and paradise (top) appears here. The tree seems like some giant that eliminates the isolation of the two parts from each other.

Cheers!

The strong contrast between the trees (and also the earth) and the sky, and the rather empty scene introduce quite a contemplative atmosphere, Ian. It rather seems to be still in all its speedy blur. The sequence of light from the top right to darkness on the bottom left enhances the persective much like implicit leading lines. The spectator knows where is the "here" and where is the "down there". A very 3D-like image in quite a strong contrast.

It brings the expectation that something is going to happen and so the spectator sits in tension, Ian! Perhaps the blue-red combination supports that very strongly too. Much like trying to recognize something more of the place while being directly hit by the strong light. Or perhaps hiding from the searching light in thw bush? High tension here!

Reminds me of some of my multiple exposures and of what I was trying to make visible through them. Here I have some vague impression of a situation somewhere between Picasso and Escher for the "impossibility" of the result of superimposed geometries. In addition the element of ludid dream seems to emerge out of the image. And exactly this seems to be one difference between my multiple exposures and your long exposure with various PoV. The "halo" of the transitions between the various PoV is absent on my images and so the impression they give is rather a "reconstruction" of this world, while your images are more a "reconstruction" of a mental world. This I find very interesting. Do you think that a mixture of both could cover the space between the the two methods, Ian?

Cheers!
