Dear Ms. Welsh:

I absolutely adore this photograph. So much so that I felt greatly overwhelmed in sending this rating. Far be it from me, however, to judge photograph, as I have no formal training whatsoever in this area.

Would it be possible to purchase a copy? Or get the poster? Please advise at your earliest convenience.

Thank you.

I agree. She seems to be in a pensive or dark mood. A darker background would add the drama you seek.

I tend to agree with Jeff, the text is really too random. It might work fine if it was representing random thoughts.

The photo itself looks like taken from a TV. I guess you chose this on purpose, but it is not really appealing to me (overexposed, flat faces).

Well done Mandy, may I suggest a darker background? It would fit the mood better.

Carol,
thank you for both of your recent comments. You do flatter me so! Thank you for noticing how my work is changing and commenting as such.
I may do another photo with the birthday wish one, because I like it but I also think it could be great without all the extras.
This one appreciates your comment about him!

I do agree that if the borders were all the way around it would make more sense...and would stop the frame from bleeding off the screen. It would lock the eyes "into" the frame keeping it from wondering off screen....

P.S.. The Subject is Georgous!

The text seems to take away fronm the subject to me.....I myself am NOT a big fan of etched out borders unless the client demands it..

Technically, Your skills are applied PERFECTLY.
I applaud you!
You have come so far sweety, I see you making a name for yourself in the near future!

Thanks Jeff,
Well I found a couple by not the typical way, I had to search for them and open as images, not using filters. It sucks. I dont understand why they are not listed I've double checked everything and they are where they are supposed to be. oh well... What to you think of the one titled 'hurt'?
I value your thoughts, thank you for taking the time!

Mandy, mind you, this is omly my opinion. I'm not sure about the different fonts, gives the appearance of a "ransom note". Also, the text is too stark against the image. try adding some noise and/or gaussian blur to the text, maybe also cut down the opacity of the text to make them semi-transparent against the image.

Thank you and yes he has seen it, I asked him what he thought. He thought it was disturbing and heart wrenching and that I made it to give him something to think about and mull over after I leave. But truth is, I just had this idea from various inspirations and it happens to go along with real emotions. It just fit.
