VERY nice (I haven't been around a lot either)
This is so interesting, you certainly can tell where the sun comes up. I like that the flowers are facing the other way, and the sky is fantastic!
Could be a bit sharper.....

Beautiful scene you've captured, worth every bit of mud! Foreground is awesome, gorgeous colors.

This one is nice, like it the best for composition, could even crop from the bottom a bit more.
How about softer lighting? Bounce flash? Window?
Cangle?
Also think the rose would be better if it were angled a bit, rather than straight towards the viewer. (Because it's such a bright color, the eye tends to go to it first, it competes a lot with the other elements.)

This is really nice......as you know I LIKE FRAMES! And I think this one in the white is great. Keeps it simple which I think this composition likes!!
I'm thinking that there is a 'tad' bit too much saturation, but that's just me.
