Beautiful capture..the rock formation in the forground gives good character to the endless trees in the photo.
Regards,
Daniel

No, no tone mapping. I use a little plug in for a simulated HDR. I only have Elements 5.0. It can be very effective on the right image though. Thank you :)

Fantastic! Did you have to do Tone mapping as well or just HDR (in Photoshop I assume)...

I love the results! Would deserve a 7/7!

Nice sharp shot with good detail. I love those transparent wings. I like the way the head looks almost disconnected. I feel that way sometimes my self. smile. Del.

Thank you Dave. I've decided that when I can't get out to shoot ( due to these horribly inflated gas prices) I can at least play around with combinations and still be creative.

Thanks Del. The wall is a very old cracking one and yes, my intentions to make us feel the age, the era. I"m glad you liked it. Good seeing you again :)

I have several photos of old walls I love to use for this. They always add that air of " aged". Thank you :)

I like the perspective you chose but I especially like the way you made the background appear to be from an old photo to match the era. That may not be what you intended but that is how it strikes me. Well done. Del.

Impressive work... I like the texture firstly... the fealling of a photo painted on a wall... the middle feet looks like being in negative tones so that shining texture... somehow the guns gives me thoughs about the worst moments we have in our planet... WW2... :-(
excellent work.
best regards!

well done Rebecca, become a donator! apple blossom is very photogenic and you have made a very attractive picture, works well to offset the main focus of the image in one third of the frame, imao, so that the subject is not slap bang in the centre of the shot, in this case you may have done that by making the top bloom the focus and the others play a supporting role? something like that! good work. cheers, david.
