Hy Doug! Thanks for you comment on "Daniela II".
First i had to say, you have a nice picture here. I like the composition. Is that your Jaguar? It's a pitty that the sky is a little overexposed.. But over all, a very nice picture.
Secound, yes i like my A2 mutch. But i haven't my camera for a long time... (About 2 month.) The question you have to ask your self is; for what do you need the new Camera? To thake portraits, Land-and cityscape pictures is the Minolta DiMage A2 great! Compact and the Akku's holding for about 100-150 pictures.
If its very bright or extrem dark, is the autofocus not very good. You have to use the manual focus. But it's just a practice thing...
I like Sport pictures mutch, and tryed a view time's with the A2. But it's difficult to take good speed pictures with the A2. You need a lot of practice... For pictures like that you better buy a Nikon D70 DSLR. But that is alsow a money thing right?
I hope that i could help you. It would be nice if you give me a comment, when you have pictures made with your new A2. So we can learn from you to.

Nice shot. I like the angle. It works very well in B&W! Looks like a little bit like Milla Jovovich with this lips. Great model and work!

Wow! Very good looking! Great Cityscape shot. Nice reflections from the sky. What a pitty that they are people in the middle of the picture. For me, it would work better without them. But i know.. in the city its not simple to make a shot without people. Over all, a very nice picture. You have done a good job.

Das Foto gefällt mir gut. Besser als das die zwei Fotos zuvor. Ich mag die stellung und der Blick des Models. Ebenfalls sehr schöne abgrenzung und hervorhebung des Models mittels DOF.
Allerdings lenkt mich der hintergrund zu sehr von dem Model ab. Ich denke eine Wand ohne Geländer würde dem Bild und dem Model viel mehr schmeicheln. Die Farben sind wahrscheindlich durch das helle gegenlicht etwas flau. Da könnte PS noch etwas nachhelfen.
Alles in allem aber eine für mich, ziehmlich gelungene Aufnahme. Ich würde gerne mehr von diesem Model sehen.
