The thumb drew my attention right away for its very rich and mature colors. They look even better on the full size image, and the limited DoF adds also some kind of welcome indefiniteness to the background. The background helps the plants and flowers on the foreground to stand out well.
It would be nice if the flower at the right had also the same degree of focus and fine details as the flowers at the left. Also, the leaves on the very foreground seem to come gradually out of focus and to be overexposed. (Flash?) They disturb a bit this way.

Malaysia was having a "Visit Malaysia Year" in 2007 because they had their 50th Independence Day that year. They provided all kinds of nice celebrations, like fireworks, a big Ferris wheel, and water-skiing shows.

Neat shot, Marika! Funny description of a plane or ultralite! Interesting perspective looking down upon those unsuspecting beach goers and those cool looking rock formations. Hope they don't get stuck by the high tide! Cheers, Gary

Pity about the flash, this is a wonderful shot and I think a long exposure using a tripod might accentuate the colours in the bottles very well
