You might be right about the DOF, although I can't decide if it might be just the low-res upload combined with the haze... Just using a wee point-and-shoot so hard to control these things

Hi naked boy!....lovely shot...although it looks like your DOF is a bit shallow for me as the composition leads my eye into the distance where it is out of focus.

What a fantastic B&W image! I love the rays coming through the clouds. A great example of a pure image communicating without the need of color.

Very nice shot of ridge.
I went over it 3 weeks back,last did it in 1998.Hope you enjoyed a cool beer in Clachaig afterwards!
I remembered very little of pinnacle ridge since last visit of it.

Very nice shot Phil of my favorite scottish playground.
Weather can be suspect for good shots.
I have done rock climbs on those Elgol cliffs,And done several rounds on the Black cuillin ridge.

Hi Phil,
The thing I like about this shot is that it's *just* off centered, enough to create a nice diagonal line, which fits well with this kind of photo, I believe.
Good shot, but I'd work on the mid tone contrasts a bit more to make it look more crisp and fresh on Usefilm. Beautiful wide view, though. Very good photo.
