this is an awesome shot. I also saw your panoramic shots of Toronto, they are pretty cool, but there is some odd non-verticality going on in some of the buildings, presumably near where you stitched the photos together. I've heard (although haven't had the time to experiment) and it makes sense that if you take all the pictures with the horizon exactly in the middle of the frame, then you won't get that distortion that makes stitching really tricky. Keep up the good work (and if you ever want to go on a nice weekend trip from Toronto, I recommend backcountry camping in Bruce Peninsula National Park, I was treated to the most fantastic sunset ever last Saturday, with an incredibly interesting shore line to put in the photos...hopefully the shots will turn out and I can put some on here).

Cheers, Marc

Lovely b&w work. Great how those flowers are "floating" in the frame.

Beautiful delicate colours and tones, Anunay. Very well captured. The white background is ideal. Is it a lightbox?

I'd favour a simple border, though. And maybe a smaller aperture for a bit more sharpness and DOF.

This is a lovely peaceful image, a wonderful night capture...great job to get such clarity of the moon, and the reflection on the water is more than beautiful...this image is wonderful just as it is, but I think if you were to crop a little bit more off of the left side it would give you a more off centered and stronger composition...just my thought, this is lovely as it is....Linda

Nice capture, I like the colors and the reflection of the moon in the water. The dock or pier to the right adds to the composition, nice angle. Gary.

Thanks Meisch for your comments and interest in my photography. you are right the frame has lot of dark space. portrait format might give more emphasis on the candle or the flame but my idea was to create a different mood. i tried to show the candle as a lonly light source over a vast dark surrounding. I will definitly make another portrait version of candle according to your suggestion.

Oh wow!

I agree with Tim regarding composition otherwise
This is a very magical frame you have captured ..
But was it all natural or there was some blast happening at the center of the valley!
