Matej, good to hear from you! I just thought it was a cute image, if cute is the right word. I agree though with your comments. I may be a bit rusty in that I hadnt been shooting much lately. I had four rolls of film and only felt a couple things were worthy of printing. See" dog in window". I do seem to be more happy with my work when I can see some part of myself in the image, whether obvious or not. If that makes sense. Look for darkroom photos soon. Paul

Matej, great work. I've finally figured it out as to what this is, but it's so effective as an abstract this way, I dont really want to know what it is. Paul

Matej, I agree with you. The tilt was intentional on my part. Who kows why we make certain decisions when we shoot an image. If you notice the image tilts in the direction the one way sign is pointing. The straigtened version just seems so static to me, no? I wish you could see the actual print of this. Maybe a trade?

Matej, this is my favorite of this series of images. Nice job using the green filter. The only part to me that is a bit distracting is the snow in the upper corners. I know you said you burned it in some, but maybe a little more would keep my eye from wandering up there and lingering. The square format works really well here, I see youre using a Kiev 88. For the price the russan cameras are definately under appreciated, I feel.

Great feel in the image. If i may suggest one thing- do you think the feeling of motion might be enhanced even more if there was an area in the photo that was sharp? That way, it mightwould contrast with the motion in other parts of the image. How do you feel about this? Paul

Brian, an excellent use of light during this time of day. The rim light makes the difference for me. Did you shoot more than one frame from this vantage point? Just curious.

Matej, I might agree with burning the stone at the top a little bit. I intentionally printed the right side a bit darker to keep the emphasis on the urban accessories wording. The detail on the right side comes through more on the actual print. The fed 2 is fun to use, excect the lens diopter keeps moving on me once I set it.

I like the idea, but there is a bit too much camera movement. Something in the frame needs to be sharp as a focal point, no?

Nice image and camera also. My only comments would be maybe a little lower angle to limit the white space between the bench and church and to have waited a bit for the epople walking into the frame to be more towards the left side for compositional balance.
