Hi Amancio, what a beautiful setting. At first I thought that this was a home, but upon closer inspection, I see where it is a boat house. I love the colors in of the trees that have started turning. They are set off well against the others that are still green. Regards, Mike

Khoi, I like the change that you made to the image. The lighting has definitely improved the shadow, as well as the focus. This image seems to be much sharper. I agree that you don't want to lose the shadow. It adds to the overall impact of the image. Regards, Mike

Spencer, I like this image. The effect you created with the distant mountain ridges, the foothills in the foreground and the town nestled in between the two keeps the viewers interest. Excellent composition. I like this image more than the second posting. Regards, Mike

Hi Khoi, very interesting image. Though you had to manually focus you were successful in capturing the motion. A little more light may have helped in leveraging the auto focus. Roger, great iamge of the evening sky. As I first viewed the image, I questioned what the subject of the image was, because I was first drawn to the waves and shoreline. However, based upon your description and the composition of the image the evening sky is the main subject. The ridge silhouette at the horizon provides yet another point of interest. Regards, Mike

Cathy, Nice image. Composition is good and coloring is accurate. The deep shadow on the side of the mill prevents the viewer from appreciation the mill mechanics. This is definitely a difficult image to capture because of the different levels of light. Regards, Mike
