Beautiful Mark! I haven't been around much so I have missed a LOT! I love this, it feels like you can reach out and touch the flowers, and I love the blur too.

BEAUTIFUL tone Jim! It really works well with the subject, and I like the composition and framing too. This series is very successful,with great feel to it.

I miss these little guys...We live in a new neighborhood with young trees, so NO squirrels! (which thoroughly disappoints my two terriers)
You captured some great detail here, I love his feet,this is a fun image!
I hope you don't mind, I may put this on my desktop wallpaper and see what kind of reaction I get from the pups, lol...

I love the feel of this...it's a great perspective too, I like how you kept the braches in it. Without that, it would be too clean. The braches echo the shadows across the church too...great eye!

LOL on the story!!
My favorite part of this image, is the *tiny*, delicate deep green lines on the buds.
Great detail, and I like the contrasting pink hue in the background!

I agree with your notes on this-the different parts of the flower coming into focus rally make the viewer's eye travel around the image.
The color combination in this is wonderful too.
