There are so many great things about this photo. I love how the tree line leads the eye all the way into the scene. I like how the cumulus clouds reflects the foliage and how their bulbous shapes are contrasted by the grasses in the foreground. The ducks are a nice touch too! (I think they're ducks . . .) I have a small question though: did the grasses have a natural bend to them, or was the wind blowing that day? And if the wind was blowing, how in the world did you get them to look so sharp with a 1/2 second shutter?! At any rate, I enjoy how they're pointing the viewer into the photo.

The composition and colors look very nice, but i think you oversharpened the image and then used the despeckle filter. Try using the unsharp mask. Regards, Leo.

The very black wet fence, together with the tree trunks gives an effective depth.

You've captured the essence of a cloudy, wet autumn day in the woods. There is a softness in the photo that is very soothing.
