it's a good capture of what the title suggests...the full bag and the water trails behind the kid convey a feeling of fun that i like...the abstract shadow is also a nice element in the photo ;-) regards Anatoly, kostas

your picture reminds me of one usefilm photographer who is the best in this kind of reflections: http://www.usefilm.com/photographer/17498

nice perspective and composition, effectively controlled exposure of the foreground elements, and this special mood that star trail images always create...nice effort Paulo, keep experimenting with night photography as it can be a rewarding field...it may be battery consuming, but this doesnt stop me from saying "the longer the exposure ,the better"...one last comment : its a pity you didnt upload your picture in a larger size so as to have a bigger impact ;-) regards, kostas

i was browsing usefilm when i suddenly saw my name in the title of the photo!! :-)
Renzo, congratulations for experimenting with traditional film techniques in the days of easy digital manipulation...your effort has paid back and this is a nice picture of the kind we dont see often. technically speaking, i'd suggest an even lower lighting angle so as the shadow of the chair was fully apparent. also, the shadowed part in the exact middle of the photo might distract some,so try experimenting with wider apertures to see the difference ;-)
well,i can now add this picture to my favorites, as many have done with my own example here: http://www.usefilm.com/image/152958.html
thank you very much Renzo! be happy and keep shooting ;-)

cute image indeed! the contrast of colour with monochrome is great ;-) it's funny how previous comments mention 'coloring the scene' as if our original perception of the outside world was B/W and we added colour later...the opposite seems more obvious to me : leave the colour as is and simply de-saturate the surroundings... ;-) regards, kostas

hmm...i believe their life would be simpler if they didn't seek anything...to simply BE is magic and can be fulfilling just by itself... ;-) anyway, i like this photo and i like your words about it. regarding your other question on my photo, the answer is that i deliberately shot half the face because i felt it would have a stronger effect than the regular full-face approach. best regards, kostas
