Great shot of this lighthouse against that incredible blue sky!!!!! I recently visited a lighthouse in Corolla, NC (see the attached picture)... is the Fire Island Lighthouse open for visitors? I would love to see more of this lighthouse and will definitely take a look at your portfolio, thanks for posting this great picture

lots of interst Terry but you need to be more precise and selective with focusing, the image contains many solid, sharp lines none of which are sharply focused causing them to lose their very solidity, I would suggest sharply focusing on the front pulley, and using f4 to blur the rest of the image, this would put more visual emphasis on one part of the image

Hugo, I finally got the picture you did to show up. Thank you for the time. Your right I like your crop better. Don't know why I did not do that when I was working on it. Sometimes you don't see the trees for the forest. Thanks again I will change it to that crop, it is better. I might try some grain on it to see if it works better.

Yes a good picture of the flower. But try to capture the low sunlight at sunset. It will do the flower more interesting!

Hi Hugo, No it still does not show up even refreshing. I think there might be some problems since the web site has changed. I prefered the oringinal site this new site seems to be lacking something. I saw some pics you took in Morraco. I will have to add a few from my uncle that I redid in PS from when he was there during WWII. The stories he told me where great. Casablanca as he saw it and the real original French Foreign Legion. Terry

Hi Terry, good shot and a well spotted subject. It is somewhat unbalanced, though, as my eye is drawn towards the lower part of the image. The drainpipe is the primary subject, and the tubes below it create enough tension. Did you consider cropping it? (See attached photo...)
