A nice calopsita that however looks sad (or frightened).

Cute. One thing you could have done is used either a flash suppressor, diffuser or whatever you might call it, or just a secondary light. The light is a bit harsh. Nice. Keep at it.

Thank you for your comments. I am just beginning to get into this and all comments are appreciated. But I do agree Sorry no good. Just is not enough. Please tell me why it is no good and how to fix it. I have a nikon n65 with a signa 70 300 lens. I know right now my picts are not good but that is why I am here. To learn.
Thanks

I really hate when someone rates a photo poorly and doesn't leave a comment or leaves a comment like "sorry no good" so why do feel that it is not good Francesco? I view this forum as a means of helping us become better photographers. Constructive criticism is usually helpful IMO. Anyway, Deleana I like the composition but the image could be sharper, I think that may have happened in the scan? Nice work.

Nice composition. Perhaps redicing the contrast and the brightness just a bit would bring out more detail.

I agree that the clarity is off a bit. I think it might be a bit over exposed. I really like your composition here!
