It is indeed a whimsical barn. Needs a hug in fact.
The darkroom work seems seemless thus far to me.

The shadows frame the barn perfectly, can you see the face, I saw it even in the thumbnail and it is even more apparent in the larger view. It looks so sad, great capture.

Stunning reflection. I love the colors and clouds. Nice picture. The only additional comment I'd make is to agree with you that it is a little underexposed. Great shot though!

The light fixture, no doubt interesting to find in this remote location, I think detracts from the photo. While I like the contrasting color of it, the way it overhangs and makes the sign unreadable confuses what the real focus of the shot should be.

Hi Joe, I think the dandelion is a fascinating subject...I think if this had a bit more dof to see throught the dandelion, not necessarily to get more clarity on the edges...but to get more of a 3d look it would work better...what I do like is the way the dandelion is the whole image...sorry to hear of your disappointment...please e-mail me and I may have a suggestion for you...lcohelan@msn.com

Great idea Joe - this would work well with a touch more DOF as well.

I agree about the tree. The color contrast between the sky and the grain is great, but I'd like to see more grain, less sky - Bob T.

The tree on the right is some what distracting and does not add much to the image. The rest of the frame is attractive; especially, the light quality. The contrating colors of the wheat and the makes the colors punchy.

Joe this is an excellant capture of a unique person. I like the tones and the lighting the focus on the subject is also very well done.
