Beautifully emotive Ronald. I love the feel of this photo; such a true sense of sorrow yet hope even. Wonderful angle.

Hi Ronald, it's Sam Thanks for commenting on my photo! I have had a look at your portfolio and you have some very powerful work. I love your style. Your photos are strong in emotion and rich in symbolism which are two things that I always want for my own photos. You are the kind of photographer I would love to work on a shoot with together!

You know, looking through your portfolio, I notice you have a lot to say in your work. If one glosses over this photo quickly, they miss it. I like this quite a bit. It is speaking.

Aside from being a good capture of repeating themes (the arm reflected in the granite), the power of a wheelchair-bound person reaching out and just enjoying the feeling and texture of the granite is immense. This person, in my mind, is taking the time to enjoy, to feel, to experience something the rest of us just take for granted and overlook.

You commented about me "noticing the little things" but in this photo, you have too. Congratulations on recognizing a good moment to capture.

Best,
Dave

Ominous. Like a scene from a horror movie where the viewpoint is from the eyes of the monster about to attack the victim who's too scared to run.

Superb mood. The tilt really highlights the offset roof over the pumps in a surreal/impossible dreamscape way.

Reminds me of a picture of John Kerry in his younger days.
Great work!
