Hi, Jim! Another one shot of "BEAUTY with/on the WINGs". Lovely birds, lovely picture! Wonderful winter scene!!! What they are talking about??? Interesting! ... All Swan pictures, which I have seen here, were about other SWANS, these/yours have dark/black beaks and more thin! They are very beautiful! In russian these two different Swans called KLIKUN and SHEPTUN, don't know how is it in English, but sure that it will be something about their voices, one of them Whisper, the other Cluck/Click(er)??? My best wishes! Alexey. Thank you Jim!!!

Spot on exposure, each feather is highlighted really well, and the snow is perfect. Did you have an ND grad on the lens at the time, there appears to be just a hint of darkening towards the top of the frame, making the head and face appear to be shadowed.

Jim, this is so beautiful, even though it's not a to good environment for swans. They should really go south, it's just that people started to give them food in winter so lately they stay instead. But many of them dies of the cold and gets stuck in ice etc.
Anyway, a wonderful capture! Beautiful swan and so nice and crispy snow!
