Jim, I like this shot, the colors and the composition. The colors in the upper part of the image look a bit muddy, flattened out, and distract me. If it were possible to rework that area in PS, I think this image would REALLY sing and make a good shot really special. Lou

Great shot Jim The only thing I can suggest is try to get a little more light on the gull , sun too your back. This exposure is fine , but it might be better with a little more highlights. I Feed them, to bring them in, then use a fast lens. You need a lens that focuses quickly cause as you know these suckers are in and out of focus pretty fast.

What a great capture Jim! I know how hard it is to capture birds while they are flying... you must have some luck too and click on the right moment. I like this one a lot! Greetings, Diana.

Jim: I'm encouraged by your underwater images. I've been wanting to get something to use underwater and this is a lovely image. We were in Curaçao two years ago diving and there were so many things I wanted to photograph on the reef there. Again, a really great image! I'll be looking at UW cameras more soon.

Lovely, Jim! Technically just a little bit over exposed on top of back and head, but it doesn't distract or anything, and it still remans that it's a wonderful capture of this beautiful bird! I also like how you composed the view around it!

Sepia...1 a : the inky secretion of a cuttlefish b : a brown melanin-containing pigment from the ink of cuttlefishes 2 : a print or photograph of a brown color resembling sepia 3 : a brownish gray to dark olive brown color I don't understand your use of magenta or red in a sepia image? This is what I think of Sepia...
