Looks like rust coming through the paint of a dented metal object... it takes a creative imagination to "see" a shot like this. We all walk by things like this every day, but until you stretch out your mind you won't see these shots. Well done Sylvia!

James, your work is incredible. So dramatic, so beautiful. It tugs at all of my senses. I would love to know more about how much (if any) digital editing you do (and please.. that is not meant to be critical. I consider that process to be creative and artistic.) Your methods, your eye, and your imagination are all operating at a very high level. Bravo. ~Brad

This is a sensational shot. The leaf has adopted the texture of the pavement, through time, without choice. It is a great study in texture and color. Nice work Fabio! ~Brad

Michelle, you have a wonderful ability to bring a scene together spatially. This brings everything within the shot to your eye in a focused, comfortable way. I wonder if that comes naturally to you, or do you put a lot of thought into every shot? Kudo's to you! ~Brad

Wow. James, you captured it all here... the drama of the impending storm, closing in on the stark, gritty foreground. I can practically smell the soil, the musky rocks, and the cold air. You have composed everything very skillfully, and given us a real beauty. Well deserved honors!

Fabio, I have missed the good old Usefilm days... It pleases me that the first photo that I am viewing is yours. The shot makes me smile because you are so true to yourself. Your style is unmistakeable. You find happiness in a subject that is outside of the traditional box, you capture goodness in the earth. Your image conveys a sense of strength in an object that many may overlook... and that is the beauty of your eye.
