Hi Thilo...nahhh, not on any collision course..thanks for the concern though, my friend! Simply enjoying a recent journey within, where thoughts and ideas whiz bye at breakneck speeds, and concern for where they land, or what they run into....are really no concern at all! I'm luvin it!

Hi Mundh....nope, it's two bridges, side by side that cross from the mainland Maryland (near Annapolis) to the eastern shore of Maryland.

Stunning! I love the angle, the angle, and the angle. Terrific example of minimalism, with an unusual splash of action, which adds so much life to this unique photo.. ...Brad

The strong framing affords this shot an abstract flavour. Compositionally, incredible..... Technically, smart. I have looked at your portfolio, and the only thing that I don't understand, is why more people aren't flocking to your outstanding work. You have a great perspective on things... ..Brad

I don't often mention the "frame" in a photo, but you really nailed this one! This shot is deep and rich... full of promise and beauty. You have such a far reaching eye, Doc!

This shot is FULL of character. The wood grain wants to tell its' stories... Beautiful textures and colors, quite a paradox, considering what/where it is! ..Brad

Love, love, love the darkness! So much detail, with so little light. This is a wonderful idea, Gayle! I like that the imagery also lends itself to interpretation....possibilities of what is on the "other side". Very nice!

Carlheinz, I don't know this performer...but it doesn't matter, you have the ability to capture moods and "presence" so well that it still captures my imagination..

Thilo, This series is fascinating... I'm quite impressed by your ability to pick up on each individual style. Karens' work is fascinating, with such a strong blend of emotion and alternative perspectives. This rocks..

I'm sure you have fond memories... I love travelling the countryside, and seeing these places. They beg for questions to be asked, and I love searching for the answers. As always, you provide glimpses of yesterday that are thought provoking, and warm. Nicely done, Chuck.

Jeanette....I'm really not losing my mind. It certainly IS a dark place, to say the least. The creepy factor was over-the-top, but I found it to be profoundly touching, thought provoking, and very sad. It has caused me to pause and consider the plight of those who's broken minds and spirits come to these places to be healed. It seems such a difficult place to be able to heal.

Ian...very perceptive of you! This IS actually where they attempted to quell not only revolution, but self importance, I am sure. This was an interragation room, with double sided mirror/glass. The walls were tiled with acoustic material, so they could more more effectively play over and over, the recorded explainations and confessions of those being interviewed. Creepy stuff, mate.

Mark, She simply needs to know the truth. The people responsible for this (and thousands of other similar attacks over the past few decades) chose to wage their wars against innocents, instead of face to face with those that they oppose. They are not noble. They are not heros. They are not martyrs. They are gutless COWARDS. Period.
Thoughtful shot... ..Brad
