Wonderful. I like the composition and sharpness and DOF are very good, although the lowest flower is a little out of focus. The lowest flower could also be cropped a little more or a little less, it looks incomplete as it is. I don't know what the spots on the inside are but I like them.

Which settings do you use? I have the 602 and use 3Mp fine, soft sharpening.

I think in this case, I like the color too...good detail, but what I like about the color is it takes the viewer on a bit of a journey through various parts of the composition...adds just a bit of sparkle

the toning has added to the feeling of a "pleasurable experience"...an excellent landscape shot with a beautiful dof front o back and side to side...I imagine this is beautiful in color too...my only nit might be the dark are where the reflection meets th land...a little more light to bring out some detail...this might be a good image to merge to different exposures...beautiful Mavis

Mavis....This is absolutely beautiful! I love the lilies....and the whites are so exquisite. You have captured this one perfectly! The detail is second to none! Great job, Girl! I wanted to tell you that I live in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. It is the Midwest of the United States, and can get very hot and humid in the summertime. So far things have not been too bad...rather cool today, as a matter of fact. I know what you mean about keeping up with all the Websites. I think I am going to have to chose one, and leave it at that. I am becoming crazy with doing the thing that I love! Sooooo, we shall see what happens in the next couple of months. Oh Mavis, I have to laugh! I just got back from 3 days in Chicago at a Macintosh Design conference where I learned about some new things in Photoshop and digital photography and thought I'd better see what my friend Mavis was up to -- and here is a photo dedicated to me!! I'm so thrilled. But you have to admit this is a stunner -- so much better (well, maybe not so) than the b/w. Great detail, soft colors in the whites, wonderful clear green in the leaves, and those orange stamens just pop right out at you. The touch of lace is nice, I like that the lily is not floating, but is emerging from the vase. I'm so smart with good suggestions. Thank you, and bravo!
