Excellent photo - very dramatic, powerful and noble at the same time. If I was you, I would clone out the trees, so it was only the man and his sword against the sky.
Best wishes
Annemette

Excellent....not the subject only but mostly the way you present it... the way that the photo in an...somehow ovall shape terns in black roundly...gives me an idea of a capture from a veeeery old movie... way way also that bright areas and dark areas connected here make a very powerfull image, great mood!!!

My brother used to have a horse like that. Called it Sgt. Pepper. Used to wait at the corner for the schoolbus...
Thanks for the memory!

I can usually spot film right off. Good use of your DoF. I have a whole lot of Minolta gear (Maxxum 700si) I'll be selling off if you know anyone who might be interested. Welcome to usefilm.

Thanks David. This was shot on the first test film i put through the camera, not Kodaks best film to be honest, just their economy range. Can't wait to get some Kodachrome 64 or Velvia 100 slide film into it now :)

Wow, I love this. The shallow DOF serves well to pull the eye toward the sharp part of the image - the thistles.

Before reading through the photo details I was intending to comment on how lovely I found the PP to be, then I saw it was on film! Well, I only know digital so I don't know what to say, besides that I think it looks wonderful!

Lovely stuff.
