Vince, thanks. I guess it looks different on different monitors... I need to remember to try looking at my photos with varying settings. Although the image itself does have a big bright sun in it!

Thanks for the nice comments! The Monterey Bay Aquarium has this fantastic exhibit of jellyfish right now that has many many different kinds - even some tanks with ornate gilt frames around them to resemble gallery art!

The background is clear because the way the tanks are constructed and lit you can't even see the edges. I took many pictures, quite a few were blurry due to the long exposure times but there are a few more nice ones. I'd be happy to send them to anyone who is interested.

Kim, thanks! This is *not* my driveway... We pulled over yesterday on a drive when we saw these brilliant trees. I did try cropping the photo the way you suggested originally, and I liked it but the image loses something then. I also thought about cloning the sky behind the fence to hide the trees on the other side of the drive...
