Actually, the glass probably took the focus from the Shark. These are some great fish. Try again but use manual focus if you can. Neat...I would love to have a few of these myself.

The new camera would do a great job on this one. All cameras with auto focus do tend to focus on the closer object. The hand here. So, the way to fix that is to either put the focus to center reading only and do a pre-focus lock (Focus on another part of the image and hold half way down) and then while holding recompose the shot) and then press the rest of the way. Or, do a manual focus. I have to work on this or be more aware of it myself as I tend to just shoot some times. Still is still a great image. We need to get together and take some pictures soon.

How sweet!! This one has the same issue I had on my "Pink Icing" shot as it focused on the hand and not the eyes. I still love this one very much. Try these with that new camera too. Good job Christina.

This is a good one too. You caught these at the right time for lighting and the water. Nice job!!

I really like this as a B&W. The only thing that I would like to see is the powerlines a little closer to the upper left corner.

BIP....Says it all. Very colorful. I really like the border and writing color you have here too. How do you make the shadow box on images in PS? Any suggestions would be great. Very nice image and congratulations on the BIP buddy.

Cool image. Hard to believe this thing would take an arm if he wanted to. I agree with Doyle that it is close on the sharpening. Still an outstanding image.

Not a view you see everyday. The simplistic surroundings are what makes this stand out along with the two light spots. Could be a little lighter overall IMO. Still a great shot. Thanks for Posting

What was this one shot against? A good idea but a mirror may have worked a little better for you. I like that camera, it is doing a good job for you.:)

Neat furry looking plant. Light is a little harsh meaning it may have been taken around lunch time. Try shooting this one again with the macro setting on your camera, about 3 or 4 ft back and zoom in on it and the big part, get on your belly and shoot level. You will get a blown out background that way. Still a beautiful shot of the fower. Just an idea for a different perspective.

Looks like you were standing in a safe place...not really. :) This picture looks real good. Great color and the wet road adds to the image lighting etc. Not sure what lense or setting you may have been using but it looks like the buildings on the sides were leaning in. This can be corrected in PS (Not sure how myself) as some of my building shots have done the same thing. Still, an outstanding image of a great City.
