The dramatic sky, the tones, and the silhouetted blocks in the right fore- and middle-grounds of this shot make it very pleasing. My monitor shows a white line around all the middle ground objects, which I could live without. I presume that this is a product of the photoshopping process. Also, the patch of blue sky on the left side detracts from the overall earth-toned colour palette. With the exception of those two small details, I think that this is a very successful image.

I do not think that this shot is nearly as successful as the other pyramid photo you uploaded. To me, this looks over-processed and unnecessarily cluttered.

I think that some might argue that there should be a bit more detail in the shadows in the darkest part (top right corner) but my own personal feeling is that the balance between blown out on the right and blocked up on the left is very pleasing. To my mind, a striking and eye-catching shot.
