I like the blur, it makes the picture dynamic and helps the viewer vividly imagine being in this situation. I don't find it easy to portray dogs in full motion, but you have done it well with this image. Considering the tightness of the crop at the bottom, I think it's actually quite good that the ears have been cropped off as well. The light reflecting in her eyes gives her a truly concentrated appearance.

This photo has a lot of empty space at the bottom, but is very tight at the top - there's little room above the dog's head. I think you should have pointed the camera higher. Also I would have liked the photo taken just a moment later, so that the dog's head would be in front of the pole rather than partially hidden behind it. The lighting is quite fine.

the blur from the motion doen't really hurt the pic that much, but the lack of ears on the dog does...if the ears wer included then I might suggest a vertical crop to ad a bit mor drama to the picture

This is a good attempt at dynamic composition, yet it could be better. The dog is too centered vertically. If you had raised your camera a little, the dog would have been more dynamically positioned, you would 've lost the distracting bright spot at the lower left corner, and the top of the bushes in the background wouldn't have been cut off as it is now.

keep in mind , the higher the f number, the greater the depth of field. Shooting macro your DOF is so shallow any way, but is this same shot was shot at a f16 you would have twice the dof. Love the water droplets.

Light allover except on the subject, fill-in flash next time please. Also take care about the "over-exposure".

Although the photo has some obvious technical weaknesses, it is a very nice photo. I like such photos very much.

nice lighting indeed. I'd rotate the image to match up the corner and the edge of the picture.

Wonderful colours and contrast! My attempts at shooting out of a plane window have been dismal failures so far, with reflections coming off the inside of the window.

I like the angel and the idea however I believe the drops should have been sharper with better focus! Great job!

Hi Afzal,

I like this shot, although it is perhaps a little dark. The reflection in the water is lovely.

This is a good semi-sil.The composition charms with its simplicity and the ripples on the water with the shadow are just great. The water hyacinth balances the boatman nicely.I don't like the caption though ,for it doesn't really fit with the pic that looks more moody than portraying a hard life.

Afzal, a little bit of fill flash would probably do the trick - maybe -1.5 to -1.7 flash exposure compensation if your flash is capable of those adjustments.

I'm not too well versed in this kind of photography, but here is what I'd say:

Good technique. I like the very blur background and very sharp foreground. Good composition too, with the animal on the right and an interesting foreground.

On the negative side, maybe this "all-brown" feeling in the frame doesn't really help the animal stand out - but that's quite minor to me. What I find a bit more problematic is the face that the face is in the dark, with overall too much contrast and too much shadows on the main subject.

That's all I can say, and it's still a pretty good shot, and probably the best you could take there, at that time, under this light... Best regards.
