Thanks for the comments Matej.
Here is the untouched, uncropped original scan...i didnt like the saturated bluish-magenta tinge to her fur so tried to get rid of it. I have had this printed from the negative and the colors are good there...so i guess this is a scan issue.
let me know what i can do better with it.

OK, the burning in the attached photo looks like cheap spray, but you get the idea :-) I think with the original hi-res scan it should work much better.

The low angle works very well. The shallow DOF eliminates, to some extent, the less than inspiring background. Is that white wall a shed of some sort? I'd prefer to have it across the entire image, the abrupt ending is a bit distracting.
The lighting seems difficult here. Her face is dark, losing all detail in places, while the fur on her body is grey. I think some dodging and burning would help this problem - lighten the face, darken the body.
There's something dark in the top right corner, you might want to remove that.

What a great stroke of luck to capture this moment!!! Well, maybe not that much luck, since you set the scene, and waited for the right moment! Great exposure on your dog and love the motion of the flower.

Afzal you have created a master piece here and I am so surprised that there was only one critique before mine. The subject is beautiful but I do wonder if it was over sharpened? The colours are real nice and the actual way the dog is acting is great.

Cool shot! I like the sense of motion in it, you can feel how fast she was running.

I think a tighter crop would have been better for this photo, as there is a lot of rather pointless background. Also I find that a lower angle of view works better with dogs. Imagine this shot, looking UP at Syd's face, letting the head stand out clearly above the back (and also including the front paws), strengthening the impact of that watchful, alert expression. The catchlight in the eyes is perfect.
I like dogs and I'm glad that you are posting all those images of these fascinating, lovely and loving animals :-)
