I agree, David. There is totally a magical element to trees and forests. I love the silhouettes made by trees. Since I paint, this photo to me is almost like a painting that I would like to paint myself. I hope you would not mind if I paint this picture someday! Congrats.

Hi Charles,
I come across children like her throughout my travels in remote parts of the Himalayas. It breaks my heart. There is another picture called CANDY TIME, which is of a little girl savouring a candy I gave her. Similarly, there is a picture of a small boy eating leftover while his two dogs wait. I guess these stories keep me going back to the villages.

Hi Pankaj, thank you very much for your comments and suggestions. But as you may have noticed, I use a Nikon coolpix 4500! I have absolutely no technical knowledge about photography! I just take pictures using my instincts. I intend to get a Nikon d80 soon and learn!
