Thank you Jan this was a by accident shot, since I overexpose the background. Instead of trying to get what I was after. I overexposed it even more with CS# EC +1.5 and then did some work with color and shadows/higlighs. So a "bad" shot might be a blessing in disguise...;)

Excellent observation Eb. I did focus on the middle dance, since I was using a 100mm lens. I think I also have one with the first dance as the AF point, but there were some distracting items that killed the composition.

Thanks for the critique.

haha! You made me laugh!Sleep-comma!I like this expression, my cats have sleep commas usually in the mornings, after they wake me up for their breakfast.Your cat is soo perfect!I have a Siamese and a common European cat.BUT your cat is something else, it is a really beauty in a sleep comma!

Colorful and interesting detail, Ed! As an alternative, I could suggest rendering the nearest subject sharp and allowing progressive blur into the distance, as this gives a greater sense of depth.

Beautiful portrait; I like the detail in the eyes and fur with the blur-out as a reverse vignette. Stunning beauty this one.
