A lovely capture, Kim. I like the warm, natural colours: that combined with the softness really give this photo a peaceful quality.

Adam, of your three 'Morning Drama' posts, I like this one most. All three have good atmosphere created by the lighting and 1s exposure, but I find this one more interesting because it has more depth.

I like this image, Greg. I think the composition is good, and I like the lighting, as well as the subtle, natural coloring.

I like this protrait, Greg. It seems to have a certain honesty to it. I also like the lighting, but mostly I like the intensity of her eyes, and how open the pupils are.

Nice photo, Marco.

I like the concept, and I like the tone and use of light very much. Over-all I must say well done.

One suggestion, though, would be to crop some of the sand in the foreground to place the lovely Mary a little farther from the center line of the frame. That, in my opinion, would be an improvement on this otherwise good photo. (Of course, that is just my opinion!)

Full of life, for sure Helea! And joy too. Her expression makes me think she has just received a very pleasant surprise.

Dave, I think the most telling aspect of this photo is how the 'photographer' is hunched over as he approaches the elk. It looks like he thinks he is sneaking up on it!

This is a terrific floral macro, Michel. You've really captured the depth well, its almost a 3D effect here.
Felicitation pour votre SC aussi!

The intense red is not natural, I played with the hues of one of my recent posts: www.usefilm.com/Image.asp?ID=1336435

I like this crisp image, Paul, with its simple, effective composition. A landscape cliche, perhaps, but don't forget that cliches normally are for a reason: when done right it works, and this one works. I also like the moodiness resulting from the dark clouds.

Michel, you have certainly captured the essence of a cold canadian winter. And looking at your picture has helped me make up my mind to enjoy what is left of our summer!

Hello Michele.

You can add my vote to the coloured column as well. I think because of the soft lighting and understated colours this photo has some of the appeal of a sepia photo already. Composition wise, the vase on the window ledge really completes this picture for me, but I'm not really sure why!

Hi Ed.
I've just enjoyed viewing your Summer Series of photos. Although this one is a tad less spectacular than the ones on the waves, I think it has the best composition: very dynamic. Well done on the whole series, good timing was required, and comes from much practice, no doubt.

As Paul said, the blue really stands-out. I also like the backlit leaves. You've certainly found a nice little fishing hole, Michele. Have you caught much?

You've created some wonderful images with the long dock, Sal. I like that in each of the 3 (so far) you have incorporated the people very well in with the scenery.
