Hey Luxpoet
I just wanted to let you know that I“ll be in Seattle around Easter. I don“t know if I“ll get to visit you or if you have time at all to see me, but can I possibly have your phonenr. and address in case it“s possible?
What is the weather like at that time end of March? I plan on going to see the temperated rainforest you told me about and the coastline out west.
Ciao
Annemette

I“ve seen this park on Google Earth, also the green lake around Ballard. I almost end up having jetlag traveling so much in cyberspace;-)I could see the neighbourhood, cars but not you- how rude hehe
Good to have you back, Luxpoet, although I personally prefer your ropelights.
Take care
Annemette

John - Thanks. The light was really unusual. The sun was getting low and I was under a canopy of just a few trees. So it's mostly ambient light from what was still a fairly bright sky. Very favorable lighting.

EXCELLENT! I like the focus here, using a wide aperture (wow...I though that is f/2.8) you make a nature's macro that is very closed to be an artwork abstract! cool result the colored worm agaist the grey ground!

I have some new film (35mm) shots back. I'll probably post one from that next weekend.

Hear anything about the 5d yet?

Andre - Hmmm... could be that. I think I've seen old shots make it though. Most folks are not as detailed about when and where they shoot as I am. But I could easily stick to recent shots for these contests. These bulbs are through a shop window at a busstop where I catch my bus home from work. I shoot them all the time. Good advice though.

I see absolutely no reason at all why the judging staff can't consider a prior post if it fits the project. Who would care? The best is the best.

I think the reason they give is that the projects are meant to inspire new work.

I guess I better not post those old unpublished Ansel Adams images that I bought in a garage sale :) They are perfect for the Moody Landscape project.

Peter - Thank you. I find these blue neon tubes to be great subject lights for my luxagrpahic work. The images produced can be very calming in spite of having so much going on.
