Marian - Ok. I don't see it. I turned the image on by itself (with a black background) and stared for a bit to see what stepped out for me, but it just looks the same. I'm glad to see that your imagination is working overtime, but the best I see is the hooks and some occassional non-hook blur parts which do rather confuse me. There you have it. Probably I can't see what you're talking about because I'm caught in seeing my creation and not what my creation creates.

Annemette - The weather in spring is come and go. Some days great--some days rainrainrain. the rain forest will be great no matter what though (rain in a rain forest?). Fine me on IM and I'll give you my contact details. I'll show you my little town. You'll love it.

Ian - Damn, your fingers must be sore.

Does the friends list shrink when your donor status changes? I thought perhaps you just couldn't add to it any further.

The blocks were really nice. I liked several of those shots, but I think I posted only one.

This reflection shot was different from other reflection shots because (as you noticed) it is tied into time. The moving waves have drawn upon the CCD over the small shutter time. I am all about drawing over time. That's what my luxagraphic work is all about, though this is only peripherally related.

Thanks for stopping by. See you around.

Indranil - Yeah, I don't know what I was hoping to see in this one, but it seems like it came up just a little short. I like the chains and I love the way the lights have burned in--but then it doesn't seem to pay off. I don't know. Maybe it's just me.

Hi James Glad to see you are still seeing the light.
Beautifully handled for the varied depth of the blue and fine lines of reflection. For the smokey fine lines it stands out from the earlier shots in this setting.
Time is such an exciting factor is it not, the moment. I think that's our commonest ground but what do you think of this? -Transposing some rock an roll metaphors (or any others) onto the image makng process (somehow). Like Generating ccd "noise" like fuzz from an electric guitar or, lately I've been exploring flare and thinking of it as guiar feedback. I've been forced to because I've dropped the camera so many times it's showing age only works in iso 200 now and has a shattered filter stuck on it's fancy lens.
I don't know if the idea has merit. There's something slightly self conscious about photos that exploit the nuances of the camera any way just raving. Hi and happy new year to you James.
Those glass brick photos are very cool. I'll try not to lose touch and keep up with your work but my friends lst is going to be damn small when let the donorship go.

Hello james,

this does looks like a psychedelic light effect....the colours have come off pretty well here the clarity is just a bit of concern.. overall a nice abstract..!! the lower part of the shot is more attractive for the density..!!

Regards
Indro
