Usually on macro photography it is recommended to keep the background with almost no whites... However this stunning composition as Don mentioned above, the white spot on the background gives a sense of a steaming flower!
A really great image and creativity!

Great portrait... And they way she felt it's reflected on the image.
I'd probably add some "film-grain" to the image along with a soft-focus and a tiny bit of difusse glow... It will look marvelous!
