lol im glad you find this image humourous as that is exactly what was intended. Photography is an art form thats supposed to be enjoyed. I enjoy taking pictures and simply sometimes I just want to look at an image and think 'hey thats a good shot' without evaluating some kind of story. so heres my represntation of that. the image kinda stops the viewer reading into it. infact im sure most will pull their noses up to it after all it is simply just a well portrayed image of a toilet. :)

yeah i finally saw the sunrise. I was wandering by myself. A rather miraculous experience and a delight to see. and trust me, this was early enough! I like how homely and country village like it feels. nothing compared to your landscapes though. You should give me tips on Improvement? x

You know Dave, I love your opinions. yeah the exposure, I just guessed. I know it was long as I was trying to keep the camera steady. You know yourself How heavy the Mamiya can be. I agree with the framing I'm not so sure about it now...I like the frail and unkeptness about it but cant help but fault my work.Anyway the polaroid was sticky. I'd love to reshoot but keep the atmosphere. Maybe change direction of the pose. He has big eyes so I annoy myself not focusing on that more. But you know me im trouble. And yeah, maybe he was uncomfortable? I'm scary afterall. ha. x

I just don't think you can go wrong with a picture like this. It's one of those everyone loves but we're not sure why. My first thought upon viewing the image was of the dreams I hold. It reminds Me of a summer day, wind brushing through my hair as I open the car door to an exotically visual place. Not sure why I got that though cos the monotone makes it appear cold and rainy....my dreams shattered. But still I Love it. well done. x

Hey Jon thanks for the comment, the framing is actually just due to the poaroid sticking a little during development. but i happen to like the ragged look. gives it the almost painted kind of feel to it. But thanks for your comment. Much appreciated. x x x

thanks for your comment... I looked through your portfolio and noticed how there are a lot of landscape and religion in your imagery. but this one in particular stood out to me...the culture aspect. I love the contrast in colour. Rule of 2/3 works well within this image. however although i love the composition the line coming in from top left and the half cropped wheel i find a little distracting. sharp yet not too sharp. but in whole a really good structured image. I like your work the landscapes are pleasing and you have some fantastic shots. x x x

Wow. loving the monotone with red heart balloon it gives out a strong and clear effect of the message you want to carry out. Religion and culture are two things in the world that we tackle with everyday. I really admire your faith and love the approcah of 'tagging' to keep it in todays, more modern, society. keep it up. x x x
