Hi Riny, I checked out my sensor and cleaned my lens. So I hope it's gone. Dit is trouwens een stoommachine die een grote zaag aandrijft, maar het is niet te zien omdat de onderkant er niet opstaat. Bedankt voor je commentaat maatje. Groeten en prettige avond,
Klaas

Thanks Hugo for your comment, glad you agree on the contrast. You're right there is a spot on the photo, but I checked out the sensor and nothing wrong with that, no dust whatsoever. I cleaned the lens and the filter, so I hope it's gone. I noticed it before, but forget to look at it later. Thanks again, take care,
cheers,
Klaas

Totally agree- the sepia really suits Klaas. Kind of makes it more timeless. And the frame really suits this. Great angle and sky too. Makes it so distinct.

What a pretty place. When I was a kid we had some sort of dutch cooking that was shaped like this place, this picture sure brought back the memory. Normally I don't like sepia due to the faded feeling I get, however, I like the sepia in this one as I think it works well here. Marvelous clarity in the windmill and windows. the only thing I think would improve the picture is if the building on the right was not there. The angle the picture was taken at makes this building look like it is leaning. There really is no way to crop this out due to the roof would still be in the back, so I guess this is something to live with. Really like the picture, and thank you for bringing back the childhood memory.

That steam is amazing Klaas. The lightness and darkness of it so clear and striking. Great angle and perspective. Marvellous you had that blue in the sky.

Hi Again, Klaas,
Something I always fail to notice with my own photos - but it looks like you have a dustbunny on your CCD, just above, a bit to the right from the chimney...
Cheers,
Hugo

Hi Klaas,
Good toning, especially in the exhaust fumes, blending in with the clouds, a very nice and subtle touch, and I quite agree - no more contrast needed...
Good shot!
Cheers,
