Hi Doyle, you are probably the only American on USE who speaks Dutch, I think it is very brave to try every time to speak some Dutch. Nothing poor about it, you're trying your best, and I understand the meaning and try to give some suggestions for writing it in better readable sentences. Here is my version of your Dutch from this time (probably poor English from my side now) " Het is niet nodig om nog eens te posten mijn goede vriend... De gedachte aan een openhaard maakt het plaatje hoe dan ook aangenamer. Sorry voor het arme Nederlands... maar, ik leer nog steeds." Hope this is another "small" lesson.

Thanks Peter for your honest comment, I was thinking the sepia give that special touch, but maybe B&W would have been a better choise, or maybe.. it's just a matter of taste.

Hallo Doyle, ik heb gekeken naar zwart/wit en naar sepia, maar ik vond ze allebei mooi, dus ik heb er maar 1 gepost. Denk je dat ik ook een zwart/wit versie moet posten?
It wasn't so cold, but lots of wind, after this shot we went in to a restaurant with a fireplace to drink some "cappuccino" and had lunch. It was a wonderful day all together.

Hoi Riny, ik had al een beetje geprobeerd om zwart/wit of sepia of ik heb nog een leuk programma waar je het tot een oude foto kan transformeren, maar ik dacht; vroeger maakten fotografen vaak foto's van het strand in sepia, dus dat gaf de doorslag om het in sepia te doen, maar jouw zwart/wit is zeker zo mooi.
