Thanks for your comments Paolo, i dont know what i was trying to do that day! when i saw it under the enlarger i felt the best way for the pipe to "snake at me' was the split the image in half, being land and sky. i saw no need to crop anything...but now you mention it, maybe i should of!! thankyou joe

WELL ELLEN [THATS ALLSO MY DAUGHTERS NAME}THANKYOU FOR THE KIND WORDS, YOU MAKE A VERY INTRESTING AND MUCH ARGUED POINT ABOUT DIGITAL AND CHEMICAL PHOTOGRAPHY, I HAVE LOOKED AT YOUR IMAGES AND I CANT TELL WHAT YOU TOOK THEM WITH, WHICH MEANS YOU JUST HAVE THE EYE TO CATCH AND SHARE GREAT IMAGES, I JUST STARTED USING A DIGITAL THIS LAST YEAR, AND SOMETHING ABOUT THE EASE OF IT ALL FEELS WRONG TO ME, I ALLSO SEE THIS NEW EASY WAY OF MAKEING ART CURSING PHOTOGRAPHY WITH ONE SNAP SHOT OUT OF FIFTY BEEN WORTH LOOKING AT.THANKS JOE

I just gave your work a look and it is marvelous. I shot only digital but I very much envy the person that can shoot film. These B&Ws have a depth and life to them that regardless of how good one is with a digital camera you can not achieve this same feel. Thank you.

Try this again, thanks for your response to the image, i agree with you, i imagine deliberate poluters will end up burning in hell.

because of laziness and expense probably. polluters will find they have committed sins of greed, gluttony and will be avenged in the next life but this is no real solace for the world that is left behind
