About Another shot taken with my new-to-me lens. I did nothing in software with this shot other than add the border. I didn't adjust the color or exposure or even crop it. I took some 200+ pictures and I guess if you take enough shots eventually one will work out. I think this has an almost surreal quality to it. I just love this lens. I hope you enjoy this shot.

OK Brandy,

I don't know how much you know so I'm going to explain everything.

On the top left side of the camera is a wheel with letters and little pictures printed on it. This wheel sets the mode your camera is in. Turn that wheel till the 's' lines up with the little dot on the camera body. This puts the camera in shutter priority mode. On the back of the camera there is another little wheel right next to where the camera strap on the right side attached to the body. Slightly depress the shutter release button (about half way). This will make the shutter speed (on the left) and the aperture setting (on the right) appear on the display. Turn the little wheel to the left and right. You should see the numbers on the left (shutter speed) changing as you turn this wheel. The numbers on the right will read 'lo' if the shutter speed is set too fast for the available light. As you get into a shutter range for an acceptable shot, the numbers on the right should change showing the changing aperture values.

Does this help? Let me know.

Dave

Thank you all very very much. I appreciate your comments so much. Isn't this a ball? Isn't this just so much fun? I'm just having the time of my life. I've never really had what you would call a hobby till I turned 50 years old and just having a grand time taking pictures.

Thank you again,

Dave
