Wow!
This is to me a wonderful picture, full of emotions!
Looking at this perfectly arranged picture of this white rose terms like purity, virginity, violability, fondness and tenderness, aswell as brutality and soreness, come to my thoughts ...
This rose repesents life.
A really good shot, and very well cut!

you know, margaret, you more than I in Belgium, but we have a bit the same problem : the light : often rainy and cloudy, but than again : D70 helps you a lot, isn't it ?
I also have photoshop elements 3.0

WOW, I love this capture. I almost want to eat it it looks like its made of cream. I love the crop and the light. It conjures up wonderful images for me. It speaks of beautiful brides, tender babies, perfection and of course the greatness of God. Wonderful Annemie

annemie Yes I think you can see from my portfolio that I love flowers and my early morning walks in the autumn when I was off work [only early morning because I had a fall which made rather a mess of my face - so I used to go out early - find I don't make the effort now though :)] getting the frost/dew etc. You have posted some very good work if you have only started photography recently - and of course an excellent choice of camera :) LOL My partner is Den Thompson [on UF also]we both have D70's and have built up a range of lenses, Sure you will enjoy UF
