I agree. I dont care for the studio shots with everyone looking at the camera. I never have people look at the camera and guess that is wrong for formal poses.
I prefer to capture the mood and was very happy this turned out so well being back lit and such bright sun light.

I hope you make a print for him. This is a photo they will both cherish in the years ahead. much better than any studio shot could ever do. As a proud grandpa of a 23 month old myself, I should know.
