About	This is one of the doors of an old mosque in Lahore. Note the simplistic shape of the arch looking magical when illuminated from bottom. The contour of the inner arch has a slightly diagonal surface cut. The light from this angle is accentuating it.

You are right about the overexposure of spot lights. I tried to darken the image digitally but i wasn't satisfied with the output. So next time I take the picture with a faster shutter speed.

You are also right about the mosque. Let me know if you ever plan to visit Pakistan. Will show you many interesting things about this mosque and other areas of Lahore.

Very interesting subject Aqeel. This mosque surely has many hidden photographs waiting to be taken. As I commented on your previous upload, the light from the bulbs is very concentrated leading to some areas loosing all detail. The same has happened here. The highlights are totally washed out while no detail is visisble in the dark area of the inner arch, even the lefthand pillar is not visible. The same subject with softer, more even lighting will make a great image - I think your angle is good and makes for a good composition. I would also try this with B&W since there are many richly textured surfaces to play with. Great work - keep shooting. Kind regards.
