I think your right but when i was putting it up I thought it needed extra impact hence the mosaics. but i can see what you mean...

That looks like a very beautiful place to visit. I'm glad you showed the mosaic in front - it helps set off the building and lets you know the surrounding is as interesting as the architecture of the building. I think I would have even more fun with my camera inside, tho!

Both the house and the mosaic floor are interesting, but that I think is the problem here. The eye doesn't know which to concentrate on. I think I would have cropped the floor out and concentrated on the interesting architecture of the building.
